Here at Riverview, we believe we have a responsibility to reach beyond our walls and share the love of Christ with the world around us. We do this through our outreach events here locally and through global mission trips to serve those beyond our borders.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

OUTREACH
At Riverview, we believe the church is called to be an active part of the community we call home. Throughout the year, we create opportunities to connect with, serve and support individuals and families in Kalama and the surrounding area.
From our annual Easter Egg Hunt and local Halloween festivities to back-to-school supply drives, fall festivals, community 5Ks, Women’s Teas, Men’s Breakfasts, summer Bounce House & BBQ events and more, we love finding meaningful ways to bring people together and serve our community.
Our outreach also extends beyond the events we host. Each year, we partner with local organizations whose work is making a difference in our community through financial support, donation drives, and other opportunities to meet practical needs.

KALAMA HELPING HANDHelping hand provides help for local families, homeless and others in extreme need. We often support with donations of clothing and food.

KALAMA'S GIVING TREEKalama's Giving Tree supports local families with children ages 18 and younger by providing gifts and necessities during the Holiday season.

GLOBAL
OUTREACH
Restore Haiti is something near to a lot of our hearts here at Riverview. Though we haven't taken any recent trips we have been quite a few times in the past and a lot of our members continue to sponsor children there.

Our church has fostered a relationship with the organization Restore Haiti. Many in our congregation financially sponsor children in Haiti with daily food, fresh drinking water, school, and medical care. |

We've taken two youth/young adult mission trips to Jacmel, Haiti. Duties have included painting homes, serving meals, distributing hygiene items, hosting youth nights & vacation bible schools at local schools. We have had training sessions with youth leaders, hosted a thanksgiving dinner with crafts, food, a puppet show, and more. |
